The Snook bite is just starting to begin with water temps starting to heat up and fish making there way to the ocean to spawn. Its just going to continue to get better into the heat of the summer. Live grunts, pigfish, and croaker are the bait of choice on schooling Snook. Fish the outgoing tide for peak action and target current breaks near inlets. There is a good chance you will receive a surprise Tarpon bite too.
Flamingo has a good Tarpon action now inside the Shark River all the way to the Rookery. Dead bait and live bait the oyster bars on a low incoming tide, you will get a bite. Redfish and Trout are biting topwater and jigs tipped with shrimp around the oyster bars and current dumps as well. Good Cobia action on the offshore wrecks, just got to pick your weather. Tight lines! Capt. Ray Peterson
